ACE Grading is a UK-based physical card-grading service that accepts submissions from the UK and a published list of international countries. Basic grading was listed at £18 per card when checked August 8, 2026; faster and member-only services use different prices and estimated completion times.

Start with the service fee, but also check turnaround, return shipping, label cost, card eligibility, compensation cover, and completed sales in the market where you plan to sell. A low headline price alone does not tell you whether a submission makes sense.

Standard labels are listed as free. Colour Match labels add £1 per card and illustrated ACE labels add £3 per card. ACE's pricing page also says shipping is not included.

ACE says it accepts major standard-size TCG and sports cards, eligible stickers, official metal cards, printing plates, and thicker sports or patch cards up to 360pt or 9mm. Its current help page says Yu-Gi-Oh!, playing cards, and jumbo cards are not accepted. Check the live eligibility page because supported formats can change.
ACE describes its grading as work performed by trained professionals, supported by high-specification digital equipment when needed. CardGrade is a separate image-based AI pre-screen and is not affiliated with ACE. ACE makes its own final decision after receiving the physical card.
An image-based pre-screen can help you review visible centering, corners, edges, and surface before paying a mail-in fee. It cannot authenticate the card, determine ACE’s official result, guarantee a resale value, or replace physical inspection.
Neither company is automatically better for every card. ACE offers a UK-oriented submission route and several pound-denominated service levels; PSA may fit a card whose intended buyers or completed-sales data favor a PSA holder. Compare the exact card, live service terms, full shipping cost, and the market where you expect to sell.
