Beckett.com is still offline. The maintenance page that went live at 7:00 p.m. CT on September 9, 2026 is still serving. No new online submissions are being accepted.
The September 15 date was an estimate Beckett published for reopening Base and Standard online tiers after an earlier capacity pause. That estimate predates the September 9 platform outage. The current maintenance notice does not include a restore date.
Step 1: Verify the live status yourself
Do not rely on estimates, forum posts, or articles (including this one) for the live status. Check the source of truth:
- Go to beckett.com. If you see the maintenance page stating platforms are offline, submissions are not open. If you see the normal homepage with working login and submission flow, platforms are back.
- Do not treat an estimate as a hard date. The Sep 15 date was described as when Beckett “expects to begin reopening.” It was never a guarantee, and it predated the infrastructure work that took platforms offline.

If you have a hard deadline or simply want to grade cards now, other services are accepting submissions. But switching graders is not automatic. Each company has different pricing, turnarounds, and market perception.
PSA Standard: $59.99 (now live)
PSA Standard opened September 14, 2026 at $59.99 per card with 90-100 business day turnaround and $1,000 max insured value. Priority (formerly Regular) is $79.99 with 70-80 BD turnaround. Express is now $199.
Caveat: PSA Value tiers remain paused. Standard is not the return of the old $24.99-$64.99 Value tiers. PSA also notes Standard orders will be processed after existing Value/Bulk backlog, so initial turnaround may exceed estimates.
CGC
CGC is popular for Pokemon, trading card games, and comics. Turnaround times and pricing vary by tier. Check their current services page for live availability.
Caveat: CGC market perception differs from PSA and Beckett for sports cards. Research resale values for your specific card type before switching.
SGC
SGC often has faster turnarounds than PSA or Beckett. Popular for vintage sports cards. Their tuxedo slabs have a distinct look.
Caveat: SGC slabs historically trade at a discount to PSA for modern cards. That gap has narrowed for vintage, but research your specific card.
The rule: Always check a grader's live services page before assuming a tier is open. Tier availability changes. Do not ship cards based on an old fee chart or someone else's report.

- Do not ship cards to Beckett hoping the site comes back mid-transit. If platforms are offline, your package will arrive with no way to submit it online.
- Do not treat an estimate as a promise. The Sep 15 date was described as when Beckett “expects to begin reopening.” Infrastructure work can extend timelines.
- Do not panic-switch graders without research. If your cards have strong Beckett market value, rushing to another grader may not serve your goals.
