CardGrade is an image-based pre-screen for submission planning. It organizes visible evidence; it does not turn a photograph into authentication or an official professional grade.

The product description groups visible condition evidence into four familiar areas. The categories help collectors inspect consistently; they are not a claim that every professional grader uses the same weighting or reaches the same result.
Visible border alignment and apparent left/right and top/bottom ratios when the complete card is captured straight on.
Sharpness, rounding, whitening, fraying, and other visible wear at each corner.
Chipping, whitening, rough cuts, dents, and wear along the visible perimeter.
Visible scratches, print lines, stains, dimples, fingerprints, and foil or gloss defects under the supplied lighting.
Focus, framing, glare, sleeves, shadows, camera angle, and resolution determine which condition signals are available. A clean result means the photographed evidence was interpretable; it does not prove that the physical card is flawless.

CardGrade provides a photo-based condition estimate organized around visible centering, corners, edges, and surface signals. The public product description groups those checks into 47 inspection points across 16 zones.
No. CardGrade results are estimates for pre-submission planning. They do not authenticate a card, assign an official PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, TAG, or other professional grade, or replace in-hand inspection.
A photo can hide glare-dependent scratches, dents, indentations, alterations, trimmed edges, counterfeit details, and other defects that require additional angles, magnification, tactile inspection, or authentication expertise.
Use it to organize a closer physical review, compare likely submission costs, and decide whether a card deserves professional grading. Confirm current company standards, prices, and value data before submitting.
