Two ways to complete a sale
The buyer pays into escrow; CardGrade holds the funds while the seller ships with tracking, and releases them the moment the carrier confirms delivery. We never touch the card.
For grails and high-value deals: the seller ships the card to CardGrade. We authenticate it against the listing, release the seller, then forward it fully insured to the buyer — who receives a card CardGrade has personally verified. A premium fee applies.
Seller FAQ
When a buyer purchases your card, their payment is held in escrow by CardGrade. On a Standard sale, the funds release to your Stripe account the moment the carrier confirms delivery. On a Verified Transfer, they release as soon as we authenticate the card.
Standard: you ship directly to the buyer and funds release on delivery confirmation. Verified Transfer (premium): you ship to CardGrade, we authenticate the card against the listing, release your funds, and forward it fully insured to the buyer — the highest-trust option for high-value cards.
Listing is free. CardGrade takes a marketplace fee on a completed sale (lower on higher subscription tiers). Verified Transfer adds a premium authentication fee. You see the exact payout before you list.
