PSA Collection now tracks ungraded card values
PSA’s September 23 update lets you add raw cards next to slabs, follow their value over time and research different grades. Here is how to use that before you submit.

In short
On September 23, 2026, PSA added ungraded cards to its Collection tools, alongside a portfolio value chart, biggest movers, folders and shareable links. You can follow a raw card's value and research different grades. Use it to check whether a card's likely graded value clears the fee before you submit.
What PSA added
PSA's September 23, 2026 article, “Meet the New PSA Collection Experience,” lists the new tools:
- See the total estimated value of your portfolio and track its performance over time.
- Quickly identify your biggest movers.
- Add ungraded cards for a more complete view of your collection.
- Organize cards into folders and filter your collection in more ways.
- Create shareable folders for specific groups of cards, including cards you have for sale.
PSA says you can explore the features in the Collection tab of your PSA account.

Raw cards next to slabs
The headline change for anyone deciding what to grade: PSA says that, following earlier research tools for graded cards, “you can now add ungraded cards to your collection as well.” You can track graded and ungraded cards side by side, “follow the value of an ungraded card over time, research different grades, and make a more informed decision about what you want to do with it next.”
PSA adds a caveat at the bottom of the article: “Past sales do not guarantee future performance. Nothing in the PSA Collection experience constitutes investment advice.”
How to use it in a grading decision
- Start with the raw value. If a card's raw value is close to or below the grading fee, grading rarely makes sense unless you would keep the slab regardless.
- Compare grades, not just the top grade. Look at what the card is worth at the grade it is likely to get, not only at a 10. Our PSA 9 vs PSA 10 guide explains what separates the two.
- Count the full cost. Add the tier fee, shipping and the wait. Our grading ROI guide walks through the math.
- Verify slabs separately. A collection tracker is not a cert check. See our PSA cert verification guide.
Check condition before you check value
A raw value only helps if you know roughly what grade the card could get. CardGrade gives you a photo-based pre-screen of visible condition so you can decide which cards are worth the fee. It is not an official grade, authentication or appraisal, and CardGrade is not affiliated with PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC or TAG. Try a pre-screen
What we could not confirm
- How PSA calculates estimated values for ungraded cards. The article does not say.
- Whether every feature is available in both the PSA app and the website at launch.
- Whether shareable folders can link to listings outside PSA.
