In short
CGC said on September 25, 2026 that FYE stores are now CGC Official Submission Centers for TCG, sports and non-sports cards, starting with 20 locations. Cards ship insured to CGC in Sarasota and return insured to the same store. It saves you the shipping, not the wait.
What CGC announced
In a news post dated September 25, 2026, CGC said FYE stores in the US are now CGC Official Submission Centers for trading card games, sports cards and non-sports cards. Cards dropped off at a participating FYE are shipped with insurance to CGC’s headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for grading, then returned with insurance to the same store for pickup.
CGC lists 20 initial locations and says more are expected to be added soon. CGC describes FYE as operating more than 120 locations in 33 states, so the launch list covers only part of the chain. Check CGC’s list before you drive to an FYE.
The 20 launch stores
Here are the stores as CGC lists them, by state:
| State | Stores |
|---|---|
| California | Montclair, Montebello, Riverside |
| Florida | Altamonte Springs |
| Illinois | Aurora |
| Indiana | Fort Wayne, Merrillville |
| Kentucky | Lexington |
| Michigan | Auburn Hills |
| New Jersey | Edison, Victor (as listed) |
| New York | Albany |
| North Carolina | Concord, Greensboro |
| Ohio | Beavercreek |
| Pennsylvania | Lancaster |
| Texas | El Paso (2 stores), Grapevine |
| Virginia | Roanoke |
CGC lists Victor under New Jersey. Confirm the exact store address with CGC or FYE before you visit.

Why it matters
This is CGC’s second retail drop-off network this month. On September 3 it named EB Games stores in Canada as submission centers, which we covered in CGC adds EB Games Canada. For US collectors near a listed FYE, the main gain is skipping the packing and insured shipping to Florida yourself.
- Rule: drop-off saves shipping hassle, not grading time. Cards still go to Sarasota and wait in CGC’s queue.
- Ask about fees and service levels at the counter. The announcement does not list FYE-specific pricing.
- Know what CGC is good for. Our CGC card grading guide and card grading near me guide cover the basics.
Pre-screen before the counter
Before you hand cards to a store clerk, know which ones are worth the fee. CardGrade gives you a photo-based pre-screen of visible condition so you can decide which cards are worth the fee. It is not an official grade, authentication or appraisal, and CardGrade is not affiliated with PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC or TAG. Try a pre-screen
What we could not confirm
- Fees, service levels or turnaround specific to FYE drop-offs.
- Which FYE stores will be added next, or when.
- The Victor location. CGC lists it under New Jersey; we did not verify the address.
