TAG documents both 1-to-10 Regular Grading and TAG Score reports. Tap a format to see what TAG says it can include.
TAG says its Image Processing stage uses machine-learning software with patented image-capture technology to record card measurements, surface, corners, and edges. Its system applies algorithms to identified defects to generate category and overall scores on its 1-to-10 and TAG Score formats.
TAG says its Verification team then analyzes and confirms the data collected during image processing. That workflow describes TAG's service; it does not make a CardGrade lookup or checklist an independent authentication determination.

These checks can surface a discrepancy, but only TAG can make an authentication determination about its own holder and record.
Recheck the certification number and try TAG’s current Cert Search page. If the report still will not open, pause a transaction and ask TAG or the seller for clarification.
Recheck every character and compare the returned card details, grade, images, and report status with the holder. A material mismatch needs follow-up before a purchase.
Not every TAG card has a 1000-point TAG Score. Confirm whether the specific card uses Regular Grading, TAG Score, or an enhanced DIG+ report before comparing scores.
Visible cracking, gaps, or signs of opening deserve attention. Document the issue and seek clarification from TAG or the seller rather than relying on a visual judgment alone.
First recheck the number, the current status of the report, and TAG’s search route. A missing record is a reason to pause and investigate; it is not a final authenticity diagnosis by itself.
TAG says its Proof Authentication app is designed to scan the Proof Mark on the back of the holder. Follow TAG’s current app instructions and seek clarification if a result is unclear.
TAG says the CERT# is printed to the left of the QR code and is typically one letter followed by seven numbers.
